As I bit into my sandwich, a hush fell over the cafeteria. Every kid in the place had suddenly stopped talking. I looked to my left. I looked to my right. Everyone was motionless, staring.

FoIlowing their gaze, I looked across the table from me, and, suddenly, understood why.
