Japanese: 大きいヒヒ

Russian: большой павиан

Portugese: o grande babuíno

Dutch: de grote baviaan

German: der große Pavian

French: le grand babouin

Spanish: El babuino grande

English: The large baboon

This just makes me so happy.

 

I had to watch it a few times.



In related news, I'll be heading to New York again this summer for a weekend, shooting second camera for a documentary about Sergio Mendes' performance at Carnegie Hall. Marco somehow got him to agree to this, as well as an interview with him. 

Say it with me: Whoa!

(That was not really penguin- related.)

I also stumbled upon a garage sale last weekend, and made off with an Onion book, the DVD of The New World (which I needed to get anyways), a stack of National Geographics, a snake poster, and a map of the Caribbean. All for the incredibly low price of five dollars.

Okay, so I'm a little freaked out now...

Found out a little while ago that an ex semi-girlfriend of mine (who is now married) just recently had her first baby.

I'm too young for this! I'm too young to have this many of my friends getting married and having lil' people of their own!

I'm gonna go build a fort now. Out of bedsheets and pillows.

THEORIZING

Have any of you ever been asked by a companion- someone with whom you have always been the closet of friends- to come to a departemnt store with them, the sole reason being that they wished for you to try on every pair of prospective clothing BEFORE they did, in order to thwart any potential assassination attempts?

No? Me neither. That would be really awkward though, wouldn't it?
